How to reactivate a disabled email account in cPanel
- Login to cPanel:
Open your web browser and navigate to your cPanel login page. This is typically accessed by going to https://yourdomain.com/cpanel or https://yourserverip:2083, where “yourdomain.com” is your website domain or the server’s IP address. Replace “yourdomain.com” with your actual domain name or IP address.
2. Enter your Credentials:
Enter your cPanel username and password to log in.
3. Locate and Access Email Accounts:
Once logged in, scroll down or use the search bar to find the “Email” section. Click on “Email Accounts” or a similar option to manage your email accounts.
4. Find the Disabled Email Account:
In the list of email accounts, look for the email account that you want to reactivate. It will likely have a status indicating that it is disabled or suspended.
5. Re-enable the Email Account:
To reactivate the email account, you can typically find an option like “Enable” or “Unsuspend” next to the disabled email account. Click on this option.
6. Confirm Reactivation:
You may be prompted to confirm the reactivation of the email account. Confirm your action.
7. Update Email Client Settings (if necessary):
If you use an email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail), you may need to update the account settings to ensure it can send and receive emails again. Make sure the email client settings match the original settings for the account.
8. Test the Reactivated Account:
Send a test email to the reactivated account and check if you can receive it. Also, try sending an email from the reactivated account to ensure it can send emails.
